BBB Recognizes 2019 Torch Award for Business Ethics Winners

On April 23rd, 2019, five local businesses were honored for their integrity at the Better Business Bureau’s annual Torch Awards Luncheon held at the downtown Des Moines Marriott. The event hosted nearly 200 guests and was emceed by KCCI news 8 anchor, Stacey Horst. The Torch Awards were established in 1993 as one of Iowa’s premier business awards aimed at giving public recognition to local companies for their commitment to fair, honest and ethical marketplace practices.

The 2019 Torch Award Business Honorees were: Ankeny Mini Storage, CJM Financial Inc. in Ankeny, Golden Openings Inc. in Urbandale, NCMIC & Professional Solutions in Clive and Savannah Homes from West Des Moines.

Business recipients were chosen by an independent panel of volunteer community leaders.
