Golden Openings is excited to announce they are a new member of The Association for Chamber of Commerce Executives and will be heading to Georgia in August for their convention. #ACCE2016 At the convention they will be rolling out: This is Where it $tart$ a chamber appreciation program. This super simple give back program promises to generate a valuable source of non-dues revenue for each chamber.

Chambers of Commerce have always been extra special to founder and owner Kimberly Baeth. Baeth started her career after college in 1992 working at the North Henneipin Chamber in Minnesota. While working at the chamber", Baeth recognized the need for, and invented, the very first pair of giant ceremonial scissors that really cut.

Since starting Golden Openings in 1997, the original Grand Opening Super Store, Baeth and her team have developed hundreds of ceremonial products that help businesses get out of the starting gate in style. They help businesses and chambers offer unique products and packages to make their ribbon cuttings and special events amazing for their customers and members. In addition to giant scissors, Golden Openings features custom imprinted wide ribbon, large bows, keys to the city, gold and chrome plated shovels, ground breaking items and keepsakes, unique awards and gifts for special events and occasions. They are also a full services event company for events all over the world.

Over 7,000 chambers own scissors, ribbons, bows, and other products from Golden Openings to help their members open their doors in style!

Baeth especially enjoys speaking to chamber groups, local schools, clubs, organizations, universities, and at conventions on entrepreneurship, inspiring women to start and thrive in their own businesses. She was a speaker at the National Association of Woman Business Owners - Women Mean Business Summit, National - Special Event Show, a panelist speaker at GenYP Up & Coming Young Leaders Convention, DMACC's Entrepreneur Fest and was on the Great Day Show with the Focus On business segment.

Golden Openings has always had valuable relationships with chambers all over the world. They have belonged to as many as 15 at once, been named business of they year finalists and winners by two local chambers and are recent new members of the US Chamber of Commerce. This year they were named a Top 100 Small Business by the US Chamber Dream Big Program. They have been busy creating packages, programs and check off lists for chambers but this new program promises to be brighter than the sun!
